HOW I TRY TO INCORPORATE ART INTO MY DAILY LIFE
My hairstyling journey began my sophomore year of high school when a talented mother taught a hairstyling lesson for a church activity. I loved the updo she did on me so much that I decided I wanted to learn how to do it on myself. At that point, I struggled with even a basic french braid, but hours of practicing became years of experience and now I'm making up most of my daily hairstyles. I learned most of my techniques from Cute Girls Hairstyles and other YouTubers. Hair is just another medium in which I can create art. The best part is that I didn't have to spend a cent to use it and it's the most reusable medium out there that I get to play with every day.
