2014-2015 School Year: AP Drawing Portfolio
The AP (Advanced Placement) program for high school students allows students to earn college credit while they are in high school. Most exams have a $91 fee (2015) and consist of free response and multiple choice questions. However, since art is more about showing and not telling, the AP test for art students is a submitted portfolio. The portfolio consists of three sections: Breadth (wide-range of techniques), Quality (five of the student's best works), and Concentration (a series of related works). Since the minimum of images needed is about 24, most students find this course time-consuming.
Below are links to my Breadth and Concentration sections. Some images I did not include in my submitted portfolio, but they are included anyways for your enjoyment. The Quality pieces are not included since they are actually part of both the Breadth and Concentration sections. |
